Safely Returning To Work After Lockdown
With steps being taken by the government to relax certain lockdown laws, it won't be long before businesses can start to re-open and we can all start to get back to work. We must therefore ensure that the overall health and well-being for our staff, clients and the general public is a key focus point for when we return to work. VIGILO have listed some key points to remember when returning to work below. This is for your safety and others around you.

1 - Everyone must adhere to social distancing measures and keep a 2m distance from others as much as possible. This includes customers and staff members.

2 - Please continue to regularly wash and sanitise your hands. This will continue to reduce the possibility of infection.

3 - If handling items such as door handles or other frequently touched surfaces, please ensure you clean these areas regularly with disinfectant or sanitiser. This simple step can also help reduce infection.

4 - Be alert, constant coughing is one of the main visual signs of Coronavirus. If you suspect this you must report it to a Manager immediately. DO NOT approach anyone who you may suspect has Coronavirus, this must be dealt with by a member of Management.

5 - Face masks and/or surgical gloves may, or may not be specifically requested by our client, whatever they require, we must respect their wishes and follow their request.

6 - If you display any of the symptoms of Covid-19 you MUST not attend your work place and self isolate immediately.   You must inform your Line Manager of the situation as soon as possible.

7 - If you have any of the symptoms listed below you MUST self isolate.

Fever or chills
New or persistent cough
Shortness of breath
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or small
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose

If in doubt, please speak to your line Manager. We only get one chance to save a life. Make it count.
